Playing The Right Dance Music At Weddings

Posted in Uncategorized by admin on the June 12th, 2012

No two weddings are alike and for many, the type of music played at the gathering determines the tone of the celebration. At the end of the day, the wedding is about the couple getting married, but most couples do want their guests to have a good time too, so the question becomes what is the right dance music to play?

Each couple has their own style and music that they enjoy. It’s safe to assume that the couple’s friends and family will share variations of that style and enjoy some of the same music too so begin your play list with the music the couple enjoys the most.I found some more information here. If the couple has different generations attending the wedding, then sprinkle each popular music from those generations too.

Then there’s dance music genres and songs that never go out of style. Even if the original song was sung in the 50s, 60s or 70s, there are songs and artists that define each decade that are still enjoyed today.

If you run out of ideas, ask the DJ for some advice, afterall, they will be your music guru for the night and their specialty lies in keeping crowds on the dance floor.
