WMPH Radio, a
Broadcast Learning Center of the Brandywine School District.
WMPH 91.7 FM is a professionally operated radio station serving
the:
- Educational development of student participants
- Promotional needs of the Brandywine School District
- Listening community with music, entertainment, news and
information
WMPH operates three broadcast seasons annually:
- First Semester (September - December)
- Second Semester (January - May)
- Summer Season (June - August)
Students from
Mount
Pleasant High,
Brandywine High and
Concord
High Schools may participate at WMPH radio.
There are up to three students per weekly on-air shift. Time
slots for students in training are daily from 2:30-5:30 PM,
4:30-7:30 PM, 6:30-9:30 PM.

WMPH is Delaware's first high school radio station serving
the needs and interests of our community since 1969. WMPH serves
in the educational process of instructing students in the proper
techniques and procedures at a professional broadcast facility.
Licensed by the Federal Communications Commission as a
non-commercial radio station at 91.7 FM, WMPH transmits 24 hours
everyday reaching northern Delaware including portions of
Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland. Over a half million
people have the potential of listening to WMPH radio.
